Children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) often have difficulties running. This study compared strategies of propulsion and power generation at the ankle during late stance/early swing in both walking and running in children with and without DCD. Children with DCD ran with a slow and less efficient running style compared with TD children.

In this study we demonstrate that unsedated infant lung function measures of tidal breathing, MBW, and eNO are feasible in a semi-rural African setting with rates comparable to those reported from high income countries.
Analyses of data from this population-based study indicate that maternal smoking during pregnancy may be associated with a reduced risk of childhood type 1 diabetes. Further investigation in larger populations with more detailed smoking data could lead to novel hypotheses regarding mechanisms that influence the immunopathogenesis of type 1 diabetes in early life.
Querying across the subontologies is problematic and no standard method exists to, for example, find all molecular functions occurring in a particular cellular component. GOLink addresses this problem by finding terms from all subontologies cooccurring with a term of interest in annotation across the entire GO database.
