Administration Officer
Telethon Kids Institute is looking for an Administration Officer to job share a full-time position three days per week (Monday to Wednesday). The role provides effective and efficient administration support to researchers, staff, and specific Institute Team members. As a job share, this role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience providing a wide range of administrative support
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and creativity in problem solving
- The ability to manage a diverse workload and to manage changes in priority
- Previous experience in diary management and coordination of meetings (room bookings, scheduling, catering)
- Sound Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with booking travel (flights, accommodation, car hire)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Secretariat experience supporting committees and
- Experience with purchasing systems.
Please note: This is a job share position, part time 0.6 FTE ( Mon, Tue, Wed), fixed term for 12 months.
Renumeration package includes access to generous salary packaging.
The successful candidate will need to provide a National Police Check before commencement.
