Administration Officer
The Opportunity
Telethon Kids Institute is looking for an Administration Officer to provide effective and efficient administrative support to researchers, staff, and specific Institute Leadership Team members.
This is a full-time role fixed term for 3 years.
The Role
This diversified and dynamic administration role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a team environment.
The Experience
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an office administration or similar position.
- Experience providing a wide range of administrative support.
- The ability to manage a diverse workload and changes in priority.
- Previous experience with diary management and coordination of meetings (room bookings, scheduling, catering).
- Secretariat experience supporting committees.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with booking travel (flights, accommodation, car hire).
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and creativity in problem solving.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are strongly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement. Remuneration package includes access to generous salary packaging.
