Administration Officer
The Opportunity
The Strep A and RHD Team at Telethon Kids Institute is looking for an Administration Officer to provide effective and efficient administrative support to support our senior leaders, researchers and team members.
This is a newly created part time role for a three year contract.
The Role
This diversified and dynamic administration role and will suit someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a team environment.
Your Experience
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills set and experience:
- Minimum five years experience in a similar role within a health research environment
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and changing priorities
- Previous experience with diary management and coordination of meetings (room bookings, scheduling, catering)
- Secretariat experience supporting committees
- Sound Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with booking travel (flights, accommodation, car hire)
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and creativity in problem solving
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
