Communications Officer
We're looking for a Communications Officer to help drive the communications strategies and activities that support internal communications and our move to our new building.
This position will help deliver coordinated strategies designed to ensure a smooth transition to our new building and support our internal teams to effectively communicate. This is a broad communications position that will, amongst other duties, maintain content on our intranet, coordinate staff enewsletters and organise both internal and external events.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a communications/public relations role with demonstrated experience in internal communications and events. We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Good digital skills with experience working with content management systems
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to achieve outcomes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Enthusiasm, a hands-on approach, and a willingness to work hard for an organisation that is making a real difference to kids and families.
This is a full-time role on a 12 month maternity leave contract that would suit someone with up to 3 years experience. Remuneration package includes a salary from $52,666 plus superannuation and the opportunity to access generous salary packaging.
