Senior Communications Officer (Media)
The Communications and Development Team loves working together in an environment that values creativity, innovation and enthusiasm to get the job done.
We're looking for a Media Specialist to drive our media profile and develop high quality content for a range of channels. You will have the ability to identify new opportunities and then tell the story in an engaging and interesting way, including with video. You will work directly with researchers to help them promote their work through the media and provide advice and support (including media training) to them and senior management.
The ideal candidate will have the skills to create video content including producing and editing skills.
If you have a passion for story telling, are an excellent writer and content creator, and have experience in producing videos and in media liaison, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a full-time position on a 12-month parental leave contract, commencing in July 2017.
