Research Assistant
The Fraser Mustard Centre has been created to bring together leading Australian child researchers and innovative government policy makers and planners. Based in Adelaide, the Centre is a research collaboration between the Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) and the Telethon Kids Institute. The Telethon Kids Institute has a proven track record of successfully translating research findings into actions that make a real difference to the lives of children. By working with the Department for Education and Child Development, key decision makers have first-hand access to the research that provides valuable insight into the development, education, health and wellbeing of children and young people.
The Research Assistant will be required to provide research support to senior researchers in the Adelaide team, the overall aim of which is to conduct high-quality research around early child development, with a focus on translating research to policy and practice.
The ideal candidate will have an Honours degree in Psychology or similar discipline, e.g. Public Health, strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in conducting data analyses using statistical software.
